~Christmas Splendor, 1860-70’s Holiday Gown- An Original Design by Keepers
Addy can hardly wait for the holiday season to come. She has a very special dress to wear this Christmas designed by Keepers just for her.This all cotton gown is a delight of holiday colors in green tones, berry red and just a hint of gold. The full gathered cuffed short sleeves have a generous ruffled cap in a solid green color. The yoke is edged in a smaller solid green ruffle and sits neatly over the gathered ruffled sleeve caps . The yoke has two pale green mini buttons sitting just below center of the green peterpan collar. The bodice is done in horizontal stripes in contrast to the yoke and skirting. Large generous side ties wrap to the back to form the prettiest bow. The skirting has a green strip of fabric running above the hemline and is adorned with berry red machine decorative stitching. The back of the gown fastens with buttons. Such a pretty Holiday gown! This ensemble is perfect for any American Girl Doll and/or most any similar sized 18″ dolls. All seams are surged. All my doll clothes are made by me in my smoke free home.
